I found it to be a very low-maintenance plant. Where I live it’s a sub-tropical area. It grows first for me. I grow rosemary plants in a clay pot, and also in a plastic pot. it works in both cases. I bought a baby plant from a local nursery. You can either start from seeds or buy young plants from your local nursery. If you don’t find any of those you also can grow it from the store-bought fresh-cutting branch.

After getting the plant or seed you need to choose a sunny spot. Around 6 to 8 hours a day is ideal. If you’re planting from seeds, sow them in shallow containers filled with well-draining soil and keep them moist until they germinate. For young plants, simply dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant in the hole, and cover the roots with soil. Give it a good watering, and you’re all set!

Water your rosemary regularly, but be careful not to overwater—rosemary doesn’t like soggy feet! Once established, you can cut back on watering, as rosemary is drought-tolerant. You can also give your rosemary a boost by feeding it with a balanced fertilizer every 15 days. Pruning is key to keeping your rosemary healthy and bushy. You can trim your rosemary throughout the growing season to encourage new growth and maintain its shape.
